About this Apprenticeship
As a chemical plant operator you control and monitor the production of many chemical products at BASF. The training is carried out in cooperation with the BBS Naturwissenschaft vocational school in Ludwigshafen.
What You'll Learn
- Learning the industrial production of different chemical products
- Controlling and monitoring production plants
- Contributing to the further development of production processes
- Taking and checking product samples to ensure consistently high quality
- Maintenance, inspection and responsibility for production plants
- Working to the highest environmental and safety standards
Requirements
- At least a basic school leaving certificate (Berufsreife / Hauptschulabschluss)
- Interest in natural sciences, mathematics and technology
- Physical fitness for work in the plant and in production
- No fear of heights, e.g. when working on technical equipment
- Willingness to work shifts
- Careful, independent and team-oriented way of working
