Junior Controller

Join the Business Reporting department of BASF Services Europe GmbH in Berlin as a Junior Controller. The position lets you develop your skills in cost center accounting, cost allocation, product costing, project accounting or reporting.

• You support our management accounting activities to provide strategic financial insights and enable well-founded decisions.
• Work closely with local controlling and finance teams to develop effective solutions for our business.
• Work with data in SAP, ensure the accuracy of reports and closings, and support optimization measures.
• Contribute expertise in defined areas of competence and support internal and global projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reports and systems; drive harmonization and automation.

• Successfully completed degree in economics or a related field
• First work experience in accounting or controlling, e.g. through internships
• Interest in digitalization, preferably with first experience in SAP R/3, FI and CO or SAP S/4HANA
• Fluent communication skills in German and English, other European languages are an advantage
