Trainee Program in Corporate Social Engagement & Communication

We are looking for you for this demanding trainee program in BASF's Corporate Social Engagement unit, fixed-term for 24 months. European Site & Verbund Management continuously develops BASF's large European sites and secures their competitiveness.

• You work independently on selected projects focusing on education, art, culture, social issues and sport.
• You gain solid knowledge of corporate social engagement strategies and topics such as donations, sponsoring and the related legal framework.
• You also get the chance to job-shadow at external partners such as associations, foundations, local authorities or NGOs.
• In addition, you can attend external seminars alongside your job, for example at the German Academy for Public Relations or the Institute for Cultural Management.

• Successfully completed master's degree in communication, social sciences or other humanities with above-average results
• First practical experience in cultural management, communication, public relations, journalism and/or non-profit project work
• Ideally good knowledge of corporate citizenship and CSR
• Ability to present complex topics clearly and put yourself in the needs of your target group
• Very good communication in English and German
• Confident use of MS Office and content management systems
• Team player, empathy and organizational talent, creativity
