Security Systems Technician

BAUER is looking for a security systems technician who takes care of the maintenance, commissioning and servicing of security systems.

• Maintenance, commissioning and servicing of security systems and ensuring smooth operation
• Analysing faults, fixing errors and independently programming and parameterising
• Implementing planning specifications, integrating systems from different manufacturers and complying with building law requirements
• Creating test and measurement reports and technical documentation and supporting project planning when needed
• Working closely with the project team, spotting risks early and contributing improvement suggestions
• Following all quality and process requirements and continuously developing technical know-how

• Completed electrical training recognised in Germany, e.g. as an electronics technician for energy and building technology, information and telecommunications technology, or comparable
• Practical experience with security systems (e.g. fire alarm, intrusion alarm, video surveillance or access control systems)
• Knowledge of programming and parameterising security systems
• Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations in security technology (e.g. DIN, VDE) and confident application of them
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working, also in direct customer contact
• Class B driving licence and willingness to work on construction sites and at customer locations
