Expert Controlling – Data & Analytics

To support the controlling team of BayWa r.e. Energy Trading GmbH, a leading marketer of green energy, an Expert Controlling – Data & Analytics is sought at one of the locations in Leipzig or Munich.

• You actively help shape the build-up and further development of our data landscape for month-end closing, reporting and planning.
• You structure and translate business requirements and steering logic of controlling into data models, analyses and technical solutions.
• You manage requirements at the interface between controlling and IT, from concept to implementation and business acceptance.
• You prepare data, develop transformation logic, ensure its business plausibility and automate recurring data and reporting processes.
• You further develop our reporting and analysis solutions with Snowflake and Power BI, both functionally and technically.

• You have a completed degree with a focus on business or information technology, or a comparable qualification.
• You bring several years of practical experience in controlling and know month-end closing, planning, forecasting, management reporting and variance analysis from your own work.
• You have experience with data platforms and data models, ideally with Snowflake, and work confidently with Power BI and Excel.
• You have basic knowledge of Python and are interested in building it up further in practical use.
• Experience with ERP systems and knowledge of energy trading are an advantage.
• You work independently and solution-oriented and communicate confidently in German and English.
