IT Project Manager

To support its IT team, BayWa r.e. Energy Trading GmbH, a leading marketer of green energy, is looking for an IT project manager at one of its locations in Leipzig or Munich.

• You work closely with internal departments to develop IT concepts and sustainable solution strategies.
• You define implementation approaches and manage the introduction of software solutions together with external service providers, business partners and internal development teams.
• You successfully deliver projects within the agreed scope, schedule and budget.
• You create and maintain project and operations documentation as well as regular status reports.
• You develop test strategies and test plans and coordinate user acceptance tests (UAT) and final solution acceptance.
• You drive coordination and decision-making processes together with product owners, departments and management.
• You ensure effective communication and coordination between all project participants throughout the project lifecycle.

• You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, business informatics, information technology or a comparable qualification and have relevant professional experience
• You bring several years of project management experience and solid knowledge of established project management methods.
• Ideally you have practical experience with agile methods and tools such as Scrum, Atlassian or Jira.
• You stand out through strong problem-solving skills, quick comprehension and analytical, structured thinking.
• You convince with your teamwork, your strength in stakeholder management and a strong customer focus.
• You work independently, take responsibility and keep an overview even with several parallel priorities.
• You have high quality standards, resilience and enjoy solving complex professional and technical challenges.
• Experience or industry knowledge in the energy sector is an advantage.
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
