Occupational Therapist – Socio-Psychiatric Centre (SPZ) Day Centre, Hofgeismar

To strengthen the team in the residential network for mentally ill/addicted people within Baunataler Diakonie Kassel e.V., a position as an occupational therapist is to be filled on a part-time basis (up to 30 hours per week). The place of work is the Socio-Psychiatric Centre (SPZ), Day Centre, Bahnhofstraße 26, 34369 Hofgeismar.

Individual support and accompaniment of participants through activating care according to support and care plans to promote and maintain abilities; offering cross-group projects; conducting day-structuring and leisure activities; creating individual support and care plans.

Successfully completed training as an occupational therapist or equivalent qualification; ideally several years of experience in the field of mental illness/addiction; creativity to respond to participants' wishes and needs and offer a broad range of activities; openness towards the clientele and their issues; strong team spirit and flexibility to optimally handle daily challenges.
