Apprenticeship as Anesthesia Technical Assistant

Three-year apprenticeship as an anesthesia technical assistant, including 2,100 hours of theoretical and practical instruction and 2,500 hours of practical training at Evangelisches Klinikum Bethel and, where applicable, other partner institutions.

• Completing a three-year apprenticeship.
• Learning theoretical and practical training content during 2,100 hours of instruction.
• Consolidating knowledge during 2,500 hours of practical training at Evangelisches Klinikum Bethel and, where applicable, other partner institutions.
• Completing the apprenticeship with a state-recognized examination.

• Intermediate secondary school certificate, or lower secondary school certificate together with at least two years of vocational training.
• Good German at B2 level.
• At least two weeks of work experience in anesthesia nursing, or willingness to complete it.
• Empathy and enjoyment of working with people and in interdisciplinary teams.
• Careful, organized, and structured way of working.
• Ability to remain focused in difficult or stressful situations.
• Good concentration as well as physical and mental resilience.
