About this Apprenticeship
Fixed-term practical placement in outpatient care at Birkenhof Altenhilfe gGmbH of Bethel in Freistatt, starting 1 August 2026. The training position is limited to 3 years. The practical part takes place entirely in the outpatient care team, the school part at local nursing partner schools.
What You'll Learn
- Outpatient practical experience: you work in the outpatient care service and learn the variety of care in people's homes
- Training qualification: targeted qualification for the tasks of a nursing professional with comprehensive guidance from experienced staff
- Building care skills: building professional care skills from basic care to helping with medical nursing measures
- Communication and building relationships: respectful communication with clients, relatives and the team
- Documentation and organisation: insights into digital and written care documentation and structured workflows
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with general practitioners, specialists and other professional groups
Requirements
- Intermediate school certificate or qualified lower secondary certificate combined with completed vocational training
- The school part of the training takes place with our local nursing partner schools
- Class B driving licence and mobility for outpatient work
- Team spirit and empathy: open, caring and an active part of a team
- Flexibility and readiness to work: shift work, weekends and public holidays are no problem
- Appreciation and joy in work: respectful with people, actively shaping things and developing further
- Independent work: you work on your own responsibility, make informed decisions in daily care and keep an overview in demanding situations
- Good German skills in speaking and writing (at least level B2)
