Occupational Therapist, Adult Psychiatry

Join our department of psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychosomatics as soon as possible, permanent, full-time or part-time, as an occupational therapist in adult psychiatry (m/f/d).

• Independent planning and delivery of individual and group occupational therapy in the acute and protected treatment setting
• Crisis stabilization through everyday-life and activity-oriented diagnostics and therapy
• Promoting ability to act and mental functions
• Developing and implementing innovative care concepts in home and community settings
• Regular participation in occupational therapy team meetings and supervision

• You have completed training as an occupational therapist.
• You have knowledge of psychiatric conditions and activity-oriented treatment approaches.
• Experience in designing and delivering disorder-specific services for people with severe mental illness (mainly psychotic symptoms) is desirable.
• You are empathetic and observant.
• You are committed, flexible and enjoy working in an interprofessional team.
• You are interested in shaping the occupational therapy profile of the ward and in actively helping to build an outreach, home-treatment-equivalent team.
