Educator Childcare

The Birkenhof Jugendhilfe gGmbH of Bethel im Norden is looking for an educator (m/f/d) for its intensive mother and child group at the Langenhagen site, starting at the earliest possible time. The position is fixed-term, 35 hours/week.

• Childcare and support: You look after up to six babies and toddlers, shape a reliable daily routine and support their development with age-appropriate play and activities
• Supporting mothers and children: You help build relationships and trust, guide settling-in processes and support mothers with care, provision and feeding of their children
• Daily routine: You take over care throughout the day, including meals, changing nappies and activities in the child-friendly rooms and in the garden
• Teamwork: You work closely with the childcare team and the educational professionals of the mothers' work

• Professional requirement: You have completed training as a state-recognized educator (m/f/d)
• Flexibility & commitment: You work flexibly, with dedication and strong intrinsic motivation
• Teamwork & empathy: You work cooperatively, engage respectfully with the worlds of the babies and children and support them with commitment
• Independent work: You work on your own responsibility, make sound everyday decisions and stand out through resilience and a structured, active way of working
