Apprenticeship as a Social Insurance Specialist, Accident Insurance

Three-year apprenticeship at BG RCI preparing trainees for work in statutory accident insurance. Training takes place in administration, at the University of the German Social Accident Insurance in Bad Hersfeld or Hennef, and at vocational school.

Supporting insured persons and surviving dependants; reviewing and processing benefit and compensation claims after workplace accidents or occupational diseases; coordinating and supporting rehabilitation measures; advising member companies on insurance coverage and contribution calculations.

At least an intermediate school-leaving qualification; independence and initiative; sense of responsibility and reliability; teamwork and communication skills; high motivation and willingness to perform; flexibility; interest in legal, economic, and social topics.

Varied three-year apprenticeship combining law and medicine; qualified supervision; long-term prospects and excellent chances of continued employment; training pay of €1,567 to €1,680; 31 days of annual leave plus 24 and 31 December off; annual special payment; capital-forming benefits and company pension through VBL; reimbursement of travel, accommodation, and meal expenses; learning-material allowance and €400 successful-completion bonus; subsidy for the Deutschland-Ticket.
