Bachelor’s Degree Program in Statutory Accident Insurance: Law, Rehabilitation and Administration

BG RCI offers a three-year dual bachelor’s degree program at its locations in Heidelberg, Langenhagen or Mainz and at the University of the German Social Accident Insurance in Bad Hersfeld. The program prepares students for advanced casework and provides legal, medical and economic knowledge.

Advise member companies on statutory accident insurance, especially insurance coverage and contribution calculations; review insurance relationships and responsibilities and issue decisions; calculate and collect contributions, advance contributions, settlements and security payments; monitor incoming payments; support insured persons after occupational accidents or diseases; review benefit claims and prepare decisions.

General or subject-specific university entrance qualification, or an intermediate school-leaving qualification combined with a qualified completion of at least three years of recognized vocational training; independence, initiative, sense of responsibility, reliability, teamwork and communication skills; high motivation and willingness to perform; flexibility and willingness to travel; interest in legal, economic and social topics.
