As an industrial insulator (m/f/d), you ensure that pipelines, vessels, and technical installations are professionally insulated. You will work on exciting projects in various industrial plants and learn a profession that combines manual dexterity, technical understanding, and teamwork. Your area of operation is in the Herne area and the direct surroundings in the central Ruhr region. You will get to know various workplaces, including our workshop, the AGR in Herten, and the Chempark Marl. Changing work locations provide you with a varied workday with diverse insights into industrial practice.

You insulate pipelines, vessels, apparatus, and technical installations in industrial plants. You learn about various insulation materials and systems and how to apply them professionally. You fabricate metal cladding and install it precisely on the installations. Together with your team, you travel to changing work sites and get to know different industrial plants. You work with modern tools and machines and continuously develop your manual skills. You learn everything about occupational safety, health, and environmental protection and apply your knowledge directly in practice. Your apprenticeship takes place in block instruction – with assignments at the vocational school, inter-company training, and in our facilities.

You have at least a successful lower secondary school diploma (Hauptschulabschluss) or will complete it soon. Your technical understanding and manual skills characterize you. You are interested in technical plants and practical activities. You have acquired a careful and structured way of working at school. You are reliable, motivated, and like to get stuck in. You enjoy working in a team and take pleasure in achieving things together.
