Apprenticeship as a Heilerziehungspfleger, Disability Support Specialist, in Ehingen (on the Danube)

BruderhausDiakonie provides assistance and support services, care and counselling, as well as education, childcare and employment services. The Ulm/East Württemberg support centre cares for, advises and accompanies people with disabilities and mental illness in managing their everyday lives independently. You can start an apprenticeship at our facility in Ehingen in September.

• You are a full member of our team
• You learn various educational and nursing fundamentals and apply them in different areas
• You accompany and support people with disabilities in their everyday lives
• You help with practical activities such as cooking and baking, as well as creative and daily-structure activities
• Supported by an experienced practical instructor, you work with relatives, social services and other partners
• You actively help shape our diaconal work with your ideas and commitment

• You have at least an intermediate or equivalent school-leaving qualification or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification
• You have completed a one-year pre-internship or a one-year voluntary social or federal voluntary service in the relevant field. With a university of applied sciences entrance qualification, the pre-internship is reduced to six weeks
• You are interested in social, educational, nursing and medical tasks
• You enjoy working with people and have an appreciative and respectful attitude
• You are open-minded and enjoy working in a team
• You are responsible and empathetic and have good organisational skills
• You are communicative and have German language skills at least at B2 level, both spoken and written
• A driving licence is an advantage
