Our training in curative education combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience and prepares you optimally for your profession. You alternate between classroom instruction and practical assignments, so you can directly apply what you have learned in working with people with disabilities. The instruction takes place at a technical school for curative education, while you complete the practical phases with us as the provider of practical training. You are employed by us during the training period. In parallel, you apply to a technical school for social work - specializing in curative education (e.g., in Rottweil or at the Lichtenstein-Traifelberg location). You learn various pedagogical and nursing fundamentals and can implement them with us in social psychiatry and disability assistance. You accompany and support people with intellectual, physical, and/or psychological impairments in their daily lives. You work closely in a team with various interfaces, such as relatives, volunteers, etc.

You are interested in social, nursing, and medical tasks. You enjoy working with people. You have at least a Realschulabschluss or equivalent intermediate school diploma. You can provide evidence of a one-year pre-internship in a social or healthcare facility (a voluntary social year or federal voluntary service also counts). Alternatively, you can skip the one-year pre-internship and only need to prove a 6-week internship in a social or healthcare service if you have: Abitur or Fachhochschulreife, a relevant completed apprenticeship, three years of caring for your own children at home, two years of activity as a daycare provider, or a one-year vocational college for social pedagogy. You are a team player, flexible, communicative, and open-minded. You command the German language in writing and speaking at least at B2 level.
