Third-in-Command in Retail

You already have experience in the store, work responsibly and want to take the next step? As third-in-command you take on important tasks in the daily running of the store and are a reliable support for the store management. You keep an overview in stressful situations, take the lead and work with the team to keep things running smoothly.

• You lead the store when the store manager or deputy is absent
• Responsibility for cash and safe handling as well as closing the tills
• Organization and management of day-to-day business
• Scheduling staff according to operational needs
• Opening and closing the store, including alarm calls outside opening hours
• Contact person for customers and for complaints or problem cases
• You actively support your team in the various store areas – from the flow of goods to freshness checks

• A completed apprenticeship in retail or comparable professional experience
• Ideally first experience in a position of responsibility in a store
• Flexibility, commitment and a confident manner – even in challenging situations
• Reliability, organizational skills and team orientation
• Willingness to work flexible hours (also evenings and weekends)
