Electronics Technician - Maintenance & Integration

At ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology, Maintenance Management handles the maintenance and integration of equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. The role covers maintenance, repairs and commissioning of assembly machines, system measuring machines and automated guided vehicles.

• Carry out integration and maintenance work, including scheduled maintenance and inspections
• Maintain assembly machines, system measuring machines and automated guided vehicles, including fault and root cause analysis and corrective action
• Support the integration and commissioning of assembly machines, system measuring machines and new automated guided vehicles
• Analyse and detect faults in PLC programmes (Siemens Logo and TIA Portal) in equipment and the central fleet manager for automated guided vehicles
• Help prepare maintenance plans and spare parts lists, and check and maintain technical documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Consistently follow the applicable occupational safety, quality and cleanliness requirements

• Successfully completed vocational training as an electronics technician for automation technology or a comparable specialism
• Relevant professional experience in commissioning or maintaining machinery and equipment
• Sound knowledge of industrial automation, PLC controls (Siemens Logo and TIA), sensors, drive technology and related areas; experience with automated guided vehicles (Omron) is an advantage
• Organizational skills and a structured approach to work, with a very high level of commitment, persistence and teamwork
• Knowledge of and enjoyment in using digital tools such as MS Office and SAP
• Willingness to work the required schedules or provide on-call cover
