SAP Consultant Procure to Pay

As an in-house consultant within the corporate IT function, you oversee the further development and adaptation (customizing & development) in the supply chain area within SAP ERP worldwide for the ZEISS Business Units. As part of the technical SAP team with system responsibility, you form the creative bridge to the business departments, advise the SAP key users of various international departments, and manage external IT partners when needed. As part of the central P2P team within Corporate IT, we are primarily responsible for technical implementation and coordination with development. We also design and optimize the global purchasing and procurement processes in SAP ERP, as well as the purchasing-related applications for the ZEISS Business Units.

• Shape the digitalization of business processes beyond the ERP boundaries and lead the transformation of the SAP R/3 landscape to SAP S/4HANA. Your innovative strength will be decisive for our future.
• Accompany the entire lifecycle of solutions, from idea generation through implementation to training and support. Your ability to lead projects from start to finish is indispensable.
• Carry out technical designs through targeted customizing of the SAP systems and their interfaces to applications in the purchasing area. Your expertise will contribute significantly to optimizing and adapting our SAP solutions.
• As part of the technical SAP team, build the creative bridge to the business departments and advise the SAP key users of various international departments. Coordinate external IT partners when needed to ensure smooth collaboration.
• Take on specialist responsibility within global M&A and SAP rollout projects to demonstrate your expertise in international contexts.
• Work in a globally structured team with global delivery and provide content support to successfully carry out our international projects.

• We value your successfully completed degree in (business) informatics, industrial engineering or an equivalent qualification, as it forms the basis of your solid professional expertise.
• Your several years of relevant professional experience carrying out IT projects within SAP order processing is of great importance to us in order to deliver projects efficiently.
• Your deep understanding of purchasing processes in the SAP MM environment (SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA) and, ideally, your experience with interfaces and connecting a purchasing platform are crucial for optimizing our purchasing processes.
• Your willingness to travel and your very good German and English skills, spoken and written, are crucial for success in our international environment.
