At the Freiburg site (approx. 770 employees) we train Electronics Technicians for Operating Technology. Electronics technicians install electrical components and systems in electrical power supply, industrial plants and modern automation technology; maintain, modernise and repair systems; install cable routing systems, power and data lines; electrically equip machines with automation systems; program, configure and test systems and safety devices; organise assembly, supervise service providers and other trades; instruct users in operation. Very well-equipped training centre with full-time trainers; rotation through training workshop, specialist departments and maintenance workshops. Apprenticeship starts September 2027, duration 3.5 years, vocational school: Walther-Rathenau-Gewerbeschule Freiburg.
