Retail Sales Professional / Sales Assistant Apprenticeship, Garden Department

At toom, you can complete a two-year sales assistant apprenticeship or a three-year retail sales professional apprenticeship in the garden department. You will learn about garden centre products and daily store work, with support from your team, seminars and specialist training.

• Learn about the garden centre's different departments, from houseplants and garden building materials to lawnmowers and barbecues
• Take responsibility for your own projects
• Develop your skills through apprentice seminars and specialist training that prepare you well for your exams
• During the two-year sales assistant apprenticeship, learn about advising customers, displaying goods, working at the checkout and daily operations in the garden department.
• During the three-year retail sales professional apprenticeship, also deepen your business knowledge, take responsibility for your own projects and develop your sales skills.
