International Trainee Business / Product Strategy

A trainee program with comprehensive insights into the company and product strategy of the CLAAS Group: over 18 months you are trained to take responsibility for strategic business and product processes. In daily work you gain hands-on experience analysing market trends and helping shape the portfolio. You can also gain project management experience in strategic projects at group and business unit level.

• Getting to know the many-sided, interdisciplinary company and product strategy and acting as an interface between business units, development, sales, marketing and controlling
• Helping develop and implement business and product strategies, e.g. by actively shaping the portfolio management of our CLAAS products and model series
• Analysing customer satisfaction studies and market analyses and writing concrete requirement specifications in development projects
• Intensive use of product management tools and processes
• Deriving, prioritising and arguing for concrete strategic options from global market trends
• Strategic project work at group, business and service unit level, plus insights into the venturing activities of the CLAAS Group

• Completed degree in agricultural engineering / agricultural sciences, economics or mechanical engineering, ideally with a focus on agricultural machinery
• First practical experience at the interfaces between industrial and agricultural areas (e.g. through internships or vocational training)
• Ideally first experience abroad, a global mindset and lasting international mobility
• Fluent German and English
• Strong analytical skills and a clear affinity for new technologies, digitalisation topics and trends
• Courage for change and enjoyment of cross-functional collaboration in an international context
• Openness, strong drive to shape things and good communication skills
