About this Apprenticeship
On 400,000 m², CLAAS Self-Propelled Harvesting Machines develops, tests and manufactures combine harvesters, forage harvesters and system tractors at the main plant in Harsewinkel. With more than 2,000 colleagues, we are the largest company in the CLAAS Group and take on cross-company and cross-country tasks in production, research and development as well as in numerous commercial areas.
What You'll Learn
- Independent execution of market and competitive analyses in drive technology
- Systematic and creative derivation of new concepts and their design
- Evaluation of concepts regarding costs, efficiency, weight, feasibility and other criteria
- Creation of process and calculation models
- Constructive design and documentation in CATIA V5 / V6
- Possible support of implementation in the workshop and possibly during harvest use
Requirements
- Ongoing studies at a technical university or university of applied sciences in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering or a comparable degree program
- Confident handling of calculation methods of technical mechanics
- High independence
- Good comprehension and creativity
- High willingness for open and interdisciplinary communication
- Good MS Office skills, possibly simulation tools and calculation programs
- CATIA V5 / V6 skills desirable
