On 400,000 m², CLAAS Selbstfahrende Erntemaschinen develops, tests and manufactures combine harvesters, forage harvesters and system tractors at the main plant in Harsewinkel. With more than 2,000 colleagues, we are the largest company in the CLAAS Group and take on cross-company and cross-country tasks in production, research and development as well as in numerous commercial areas.

• Independent execution of market analyses and benchmarks
• Creative development of new concepts for weight, cost and structural optimization of assemblies on self-propelled harvesting machines
• Creation of requirement profiles and specifications for assemblies
• Commissioning and evaluation of FEM and topology studies
• Evaluation of technical concepts based on the criteria of weight, cost/benefit and verification of manufacturability
• Constructive design and documentation in CATIA V5 / V6
• Support of prototype production in the pilot production
• Verification of target results and comparison with the target specifications from the task assignment on the real component
• Documentation of the achieved results

• Ongoing studies in the field of mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering or vehicle engineering
