About this Apprenticeship
Are you interested in process engineering in production? Do you enjoy craft projects? Are you hungry for knowledge and want to find out what else you're capable of? Then you're ready for the apprenticeship as a plastics and rubber technologist. At our Korbach location, we train this future-oriented profession starting 01.09.2027 for the companies Continental Reifen Deutschland GmbH and ContiTech Luftfedersysteme GmbH. The designation is new, but the fundamentals haven't changed: Plastics and rubber technologists (formerly process mechanics) are sought-after specialists in all production areas. With this apprenticeship, you pave the way for a successful professional future! In the 3 apprenticeship years, you will learn, among other things, the manufacturing of our rubber and plastic products and acquire expertise in the increasingly important areas of environmental protection, sustainability, and digitalized work environments. In the process, you build a comprehensive understanding of the various materials and their processing, set up machines, operate systems, and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
