About this Apprenticeship
Machining mechanics are metal whisperers. Since the training as a machining mechanic revolves entirely around the material metal, you will learn above all everything worth knowing about the properties and machining of metal. This also includes the production of workpieces for machines, systems and devices on mechanical or computer-controlled machines. These must correspond exactly to the specifications in shape and dimension at the end. As a machining mechanic, you accompany the process from planning to quality inspection. This also includes programming and optimizing the computer controls.
