As a warehouse logistics specialist, you receive goods of all kinds and check their quantity and condition against accompanying documents. You organize the unloading of goods, sort them, and store them properly at pre-planned locations. You ensure goods are stored under optimal conditions, regulating temperature and humidity. In outbound logistics, you plan delivery tours and determine the most cost-effective shipping method. You assemble shipments, pack goods, and create accompanying documents such as delivery notes or customs declarations. You also load trucks, operate forklifts, and secure cargo against shifting or leakage. Additionally, you optimize the internal information and material flow from procurement to sales. You explore procurement sources, prepare offer comparisons, order goods, and arrange payment.
