Intern in Sustainability – with Salary Information

Your internship takes place in the area "Sustainability Ratings, Reporting & Social Responsibility", where topics such as sustainability reporting, ESG ratings and rankings, human rights and donations are managed. We work on sustainability topics that affect all business units and are relevant for Covestro as a whole.

• You work in different areas of the team on strategic sustainability topics for Covestro and gain broad experience in sustainability and social topics
• In particular, you support the strategic development of our sustainability reporting, materiality analysis and sustainability KPI audit as well as ESG ratings
• As a full team member, you support various sustainability projects and can independently manage your own sub-projects
• Your tasks include carrying out research and analyses, project management, and creating presentations and communication materials (including for senior management)
• You are also responsible for developing and carrying out activities in sustainability communication and engagement
• You help us integrate sustainability into our business processes to meet stakeholder expectations and our own values

• You are studying economics or communication sciences, sustainability management, business administration, management, natural sciences or a comparable subject in a master's programme
• You already have first work experience, e.g. through internships
• Advanced use of common MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint, is absolutely required
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI) and first insights into agile working methods are an advantage
• Sustainability topics are particularly close to your heart
• You would describe yourself as analytical, structured and communicative, highly self-motivated, and enjoy working in a team
• You have excellent German (at least C1 level) and English skills, spoken and written
