Responsible Electrical Specialist / VEFK / Electrical Master – with Salary Information

As a Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK) at our Buxtehude site, you assume technical responsibility for our electrical safety organization and consistently develop existing structures and standards further. You are not exclusively conceptual: you stay close to our production plants, support daily operations, analyze technical faults, and ensure safe and reliable plant operation together with the team. A role for people who take on electrical engineering responsibility, translate standards into practice, and want to stay technically close to production.

• Assumption of the function as Responsible Electrical Specialist according to DIN VDE 1000-10 and responsibility for further development, control, and monitoring of the electrical safety organization
• Ensuring compliance with relevant requirements from DIN VDE, DGUV Regulation 3, BetrSichV, and TRBS and translating them into practical work, switching, and safety instructions and checklists
• Responsibility for safe isolation, switching, and LOTO processes, creation and review of corresponding instructions, participation in risk assessments, root cause analyses, and CAPA measures
• Technical leadership and qualification of electrical specialists, electrically instructed persons, and authorized switching personnel
• Updating qualification matrices, organizing and documenting annual briefings, ensuring traceable qualifications and authorizations
• Independent management of external service providers in the electrical engineering environment
• Planning, commissioning, and monitoring of recurring electrical tests, ensuring quality and completeness of test records
• Maintenance of test and maintenance plans, tracking of relevant key figures, maintenance of circuit diagrams and test books, ensuring traceable technical documentation
• Ensuring reliable plant and machinery operation, independent analysis of faults, initiation of appropriate corrective measures
• Performance of maintenance and repair work, installation and maintenance of electrical systems
• Active contribution of electrical engineering expertise to plant conversions, investment projects, continuous improvement measures, FAT and SAT, commissioning, and change management (MOC)
• Participation in the weekly rotating on-call duty

• A qualification enabling you to perform the VEFK function, e.g., as a master craftsperson, technician, or engineer in electrical engineering (m/f/d)
• Completed vocational training in electronics or mechatronics
• Several years of professional experience in a manufacturing company
• Sound knowledge of relevant electrical engineering regulations and standards, particularly DIN VDE, DGUV Regulation 3, BetrSichV, and TRBS
• Good knowledge of automation and drive technology
• Confident handling of SAP and MS Office
• Structured and independent working style and a pronounced safety awareness
