Apprenticeship as a Nursing Professional in Halle Silberhöhe

Formerly known as training in general, elderly and pediatric nursing. As a nursing professional you work with many different people. The training lasts three years and mixes theory and practice. You learn nursing, health sciences, and natural, humanities and social sciences. You are mainly trained in an elderly care facility near you and also work in outpatient care and inpatient facilities. In the final year you decide whether to keep learning generalist nursing (degree as nursing professional) or specialize in elderly care (degree as elderly care nurse). Start is possible on 1 March 2027.

• Intermediate school certificate (Realschulabschluss) or equivalent completed 10 years of schooling, or
• Lower secondary certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) with completed 2-year vocational training, or
• Lower secondary certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) and completed training as an elderly care or nursing assistant
