Operational Site Development and Innovation Management at Daimler Truck Gastronomie GmbH

The position reports directly to the COO and actively supports the site operations managers. It includes taking over construction projects, identifying room for improvement, implementing company decisions and developing new service concepts. Willingness to travel is required. Permanent full-time position, 39 hours per week, in Gaggenau.

• Leading and managing cross-site projects from concept phase to successful implementation
• Developing and refining innovative service, offer and catering concepts for the entire DTGG portfolio
• Identifying and implementing optimization measures to continuously improve processes, services and collaboration
• Planning, managing and monitoring innovation and change projects with internal and external partners
• Carrying out quality checks, audits and training to secure and further develop existing standards
• Strategic offer development including market observation, offer comparison, and preparing price comparisons and decision papers
• Creating and presenting management presentations and decision papers for various committees
• Regular site visits and attending trade fairs to analyze market trends, innovations and optimization potential

• Completed vocational training in the catering field or a comparable discipline
• Several years of professional experience in catering for communal facilities
• Experience in the professional leadership of project teams is an advantage
• Experience in developing, evaluating and implementing concepts and strategies
• Analytical and conceptual way of working, and experience in preparing decision papers
• Strong communication, presentation and moderation skills
• High initiative, organizational strength and implementation focus
• Fluent German and good English
• Willingness to travel regularly on business and to visit sites and trade fairs
