About this Apprenticeship
As a Consultant AI Engineering (m/f/d) in Consulting – Artificial Intelligence and Data, you support our clients in developing and introducing modern AI and GenAI solutions and help bring innovative use cases into practice.
What You'll Learn
- Exciting project work: You work actively in agile, interdisciplinary project teams and help implement innovative AI and GenAI solutions that create measurable business value for our clients.
- Analysis: You analyse functional requirements, business processes and existing system landscapes and help identify suitable AI and GenAI use cases.
- Implementation: You develop and implement AI and GenAI solutions under the guidance of experienced colleagues and help integrate them into existing business processes and IT landscapes.
- Operationalisation: You help with deployment, testing and operation of AI applications and help build scalable and reliable AI architectures.
- Innovation: You contribute to evaluating new technologies, frameworks and best practices in AI engineering and help with prototype development of innovative solutions.
Requirements
- First professional experience in developing, implementing or productionizing AI or GenAI solutions in a business context, ideally with cloud-based technologies
- Successfully completed degree in (business) informatics, (industrial) engineering, business studies with a computer science focus, or a comparable programme
- Programming skills in Python or a comparable language and first practical experience with modern AI and GenAI technologies, for example Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, Vertex AI, Gemini or frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex
- Basic knowledge of software engineering, API integration and first experience with cloud platforms, MLOps or DevOps concepts are an advantage
- Willingness to travel and very good written and spoken German (C1) and English
