3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for operations engineering (f/m/d) at DB Regio AG in the workshop in Erfurt, in the maintenance plant for regional trains. The vocational school is in Leipzig in the Eutritzsch district, and the training workshop is on Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße near Leipzig main station. A dormitory place for these locations is gladly provided free of charge.

• You get familiar with electrical quantities such as voltage, current, resistance and power and learn how electrical systems work
• Together with your colleagues, you make sure electronic components such as doors and info displays on the train work reliably
• You learn to analyze faults in operations engineering, find causes and fix errors
• You continuously expand your knowledge and skills with modern technologies such as VR and AI in maintenance

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school certificate is recognized in Germany
• You enjoy math and physics, and new technologies fascinate you
• You are good with your hands, like tinkering with electronic components and want to get to the bottom of technical problems
• Your German is at least level B2
• You are willing to work shifts and weekends
• You like teamwork, take responsibility and are reliable
