About this Apprenticeship

The basis of everything is physics: You familiarise yourself with electrical quantities such as voltage, current, resistance and power and learn how electrical systems work. Then it's about technology and teamwork: Together with your colleagues you ensure that electronic components such as doors and info displays in the train work reliably. Fault finding is also part of it: You learn to analyse faults in operating technology, find causes and rectify errors. VR and AI are also increasingly used in the workshop: Modern technologies are changing maintenance, so you continuously expand your knowledge and skills. At some point you realise: Your fascination for technology has become more – from learning comes ability, from enthusiasm comes independence and you become a pro for technology in regional transport.
