Apprenticeship Electronics Technician for Operations Technology in the Rail Network 2027

3.5-year apprenticeship as an electronics technician for operations technology (f/m/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Darmstadt. Vocational school is part-time at the Heinrich-Emanuel-Merck-Schule in Darmstadt, and the training workshop is in Darmstadt-Griesheim. You get a student Hessenticket for getting there and financial support for your driving license. During practical placements you work early and late shifts. The selection process includes an aptitude test.

• You work outdoors in the rail network together with your team
• During your apprenticeship you get familiar with maintaining and repairing control and safety technology, such as signals, switch motors and level crossings
• As an electronics technician for operations technology you also learn to analyze and fix faults in operations technology
• You also learn about measuring, testing and diagnostic methods

• You have (soon) successfully finished Realschule or Mittlere Reife and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
• Your German skills are at least at B2 level
• You enjoy math and physics
• You are good with your hands and like tinkering with electronic components
• You are definitely a team player and reliable
• You also like working independently
