Apprenticeship as Track Construction Worker 2027

Apprenticeship as a track construction worker at DB InfraGO AG in Duisburg. You work outdoors with your team on construction sites along the tracks and help keep trains running reliably. Start date: 1 September 2027.

• You work outdoors with your team on construction sites along our tracks
• Together you lay new rails and switches, check everything for damage and replace broken parts
• With the help of modern machines you renew the ballast under the tracks
• You make sure all measurements are exact so that trains run smoothly and safely
• During your training you are already an important part of the team and help keep our trains running reliably every day

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school certificate is recognised in Germany
• Your German skills are at least level B2
• Sitting at a desk is not for you – you prefer to work outdoors
• You are motivated and reliable
• You enjoy teamwork and like to pitch in
• Different work locations, working hours and night shifts are a welcome change for you
