About this Apprenticeship
From 01.09.2027, DB InfraGO AG is looking for you for a 3-year apprenticeship as a track construction worker (w/m/d) in Neustadt (Dosse). The vocational school and training workshop are in Hamburg. The selection process includes a suitability examination.
What You'll Learn
- You work with your team outdoors on construction sites on our tracks
- Together you lay new rails and switches, check everything for damage and replace broken parts
- With the help of modern machines you renew the ballast under the tracks
- You pay close attention that all measurements are right – so that trains later run smoothly and safely
- During your apprenticeship as a track construction worker you are already an important part of the team and make sure every day that our trains run reliably
Requirements
- You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school certificate is recognized in Germany
- Your German skills are at least B2 level
- Sitting at a desk is not for you – you prefer to work outdoors
- You are motivated and reliable
- You enjoy teamwork and like to pitch in
- Different work locations and working hours as well as night shifts are a welcome change for you
