Apprenticeship Track Construction Worker (Rail Network) 2027

3-year apprenticeship as a track construction worker (f/m/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Nordhausen. Vocational school in Magdeburg, training workshop in Königsborn (near Magdeburg). For the first two years we fund accommodation in Magdeburg (if certain conditions are met).

• You work with your team outdoors on construction sites on our tracks
• Together you lay new rails and switches, check everything for damage and replace broken parts
• With modern machines you renew the ballast under the tracks
• You make sure all measurements are right so trains run smoothly and safely
• During your training you are already an important part of the team and help keep our trains running reliably every day

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school certificate is recognised in Germany
• Your German is at least B2 level (for applicants with B1 we offer an online B2 course before training starts)
• Sitting at a desk is not for you – you prefer working outdoors
• You are motivated and reliable
• You enjoy teamwork and like to pitch in
• Different work locations, working hours and night shifts are a welcome change for you
