4.5-year dual study program leading to a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with an integrated apprenticeship as a track construction worker (m/f/d) at DB InfraGO AG in Nordhausen. Theory phases take place at Magdeburg-Stendal University, and practical training at DB InfraGO AG in Nordhausen, the vocational school in Magdeburg and the training workshop in Königsborn near Magdeburg. For longer commutes, DB offers support under certain conditions, for example financial.

• First a 1-month practical assignment to get to know the company and department
• Alternately out with the track construction crews and working in the office
• Vocational school and training workshop, supporting colleagues on site
• Insights into construction costing, construction supervision and project management
• Tasks in track construction such as inspection, maintenance and fault clearance of tracks and switches
• Working on construction sites from surveying to quality control
• Learning testing and measuring methods as well as manual basics

• Abitur (soon) successfully completed or an equivalent professional qualification (professionally qualified applicants must meet the enrollment requirements of FH Magdeburg)
