About this Apprenticeship
Apprenticeship with DB InfraGO AG in Ulm starting on 1 September 2027. You will learn to maintain, service and fix faults in overhead power lines and electrical systems operating at 50 hertz.
What You'll Learn
- You become a specialist in maintaining, servicing and fixing faults in overhead power lines and 50-hertz systems, such as lighting along railway tracks and point heaters
- You learn basics such as the relationship between voltage and current, basic electrical quantities and electrical equipment
- You learn how to interpret technical documents correctly
- You learn accident prevention rules and workplace safety
Requirements
- You have successfully finished school or will do so soon, and your school qualification is recognised in Germany
- Your German is at least at B2 level
- You are good with your hands and enjoy tinkering in your free time
- You are particularly good at maths and physics
- You enjoy teamwork and working outdoors
- You are committed, careful and reliable in your work
What Deutsche Bahn AG offers

- Between €1,324 and €1,531 per month depending on your training year, plus a Christmas bonus. These pay amounts apply from 1 July 2026. These employment terms apply to the vast majority of apprentices in the DB Group.
- Practical training that prepares you for the future, with dedicated people to support you.
- Up to €3,500 towards getting your car driving licence during your apprenticeship.
