About this Apprenticeship
IT systems electronics technician apprenticeship with DB InfraGO AG in Ulm, starting on 1 September 2027. You will learn about security, communication and automated systems and join service technicians on assignments in the region.
What You'll Learn
- Install and maintain technical security, information and communication, and automated systems, including intruder and fire alarms, video and public address systems, displays, ticket machines, hot axle box detectors and various radio systems
- Spend much of your time outdoors in all weather, for example on station grounds, near tracks or in signal boxes
- Work with network technology from copper cables to fibre optics
- Carry out small installation tasks
- Join service technicians on assignments in the region and gain experience
Requirements
- You have successfully finished school or will do so soon, and your school qualification is recognised in Germany
- Your German skills are at least at B2 level
- Having variety at work matters to you
- You have strong practical skills
- You want to work independently and enjoy working outdoors
- You work well in a team and are reliable
