Apprenticeship Industrial Electrician for Track Construction Machines 2027

As an industrial electrician you are a very important part of the team and of smoothly running rail traffic, because you keep the track construction machines running. From 30 August 2027, DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH is looking for you for the 2-year apprenticeship as an industrial electrician (w/m/d) at the Königsborn (Biederitz) site. The vocational school is in Magdeburg and the training workshop is in Königsborn. If you live further away, a dormitory place in Magdeburg is available.

• After your training you spend most of your time as an operator on large track construction machines
• You become a pro at installing, testing and maintaining electrical components on tamping machines
• You learn to install, wire and test switching, control and measuring devices
• You gain expert knowledge from voltage and current to electrical equipment
• Work safety and accident prevention accompany you from the first day of training

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
• Your German skills are at least at B2 level
• You have manual skills and enjoy tinkering in your free time
• You are especially good at maths and physics
• Different work locations and working hours as well as night shifts are a welcome change for you
• You like working outdoors, on our machines and in a team
• You are known for your committed and careful way of working
