Apprenticeship as an Industrial Mechanic at the Regional Workshop 2027

The 3.5-year apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) for DB Regio AG starts in Munich on 1 September 2027. The vocational school and training workshop are also in Munich. You will help keep regional trains ready for service and learn metalworking, railway technology, occupational safety and quality assurance.

• Helping ensure that regional trains are always ready for service
• Maintaining and servicing vehicles, including replacing brake blocks and repairing door damage
• Assembling, commissioning and maintaining railway technology
• Working with tools and machines to process metal, including turning, welding, drilling and milling
• Working on occupational safety and quality assurance
• Maintaining and repairing equipment and rail vehicles

• You have successfully completed school or will do so soon, and your school-leaving qualification is recognised in Germany
• Your German language skills are at least at B2 level
• You have practical skills and enjoy tinkering in your free time
• You have particularly good grades in mathematics and physics
• You enjoy teamwork
• You are known for your committed, careful and reliable way of working
