Apprenticeship IT Systems Electronics Technician 2027

3-year apprenticeship as an IT systems electronics technician (f/m/d) at DB InfraGO AG at the Darmstadt site, starting 1 September 2027. Vocational school is the Werner-von-Siemens-Schule in Frankfurt am Main and runs in block format. As an IT systems electronics technician you help make sure trains run and passengers reach their destination safely and quickly.

• Setting up and maintaining various technical systems in security, ICT and vending technology (including burglar and fire alarm systems, video and public address systems, displays, ticket machines, hot axle box detection systems, various radio technologies and much more)
• You are often outdoors in all weather, e.g. on station grounds, in the track area or in signal boxes
• Work with network technology from copper to fiber optics
• Carrying out minor assembly work
• You accompany service technicians on jobs in the region and gain experience

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school diploma is recognized in Germany
• Your German skills are at least B2 level
• Variety in your job is important to you
