Office Management / Railway Operations Planner Apprenticeship 2027

Apprenticeship with S-Bahn Hamburg GmbH in Hamburg in office management and operations planning. You learn to schedule vehicles and staff and organise railway operations during disruptions.

• Plan and coordinate railway operations and take on the key role of an operations planner
• Learn the basics of planning vehicle and staff deployment, for example scheduling train drivers' shifts while following employment law and company requirements
• Identify and document disruptions to operations and take suitable action to address them
• Keep the effects of changes on customers as small as possible and ensure trains run safely and as punctually as possible, even during disruptions
• Help plan, manage and monitor projects
• Arrange train driver assignments at short notice in shift operations and ensure shifts and duty schedules are staffed

• You have successfully finished school or will soon finish, and your school qualification is recognised in Germany
• Your German is at least at B2 level
• You enjoy working on a computer and with numbers, and you have strong organisational skills
• You learn quickly and express yourself well
• You work well in a team, are reliable and have a friendly manner
