About this Apprenticeship
As a train driver, you are an indispensable part of our team, enabling our passengers to travel. Starting 1 September 2027, we are looking for you for the 3-year apprenticeship as a train driver (railway operator in operational service train driver and transport) (f/m/d) at DB Regio AG in Ingolstadt. The vocational school is in Munich.
What You'll Learn
- At the beginning of your apprenticeship as a train driver you learn what you need to pay attention to in order to drive trains safely and punctually from A to B
- Should there be deviations or changes in train operations, you practice informing our passengers about them via the loudspeaker
- You also learn as a train driver how our trains are prepared and assembled for the journeys
- Step by step you can then drive the trains yourself and your instructors are always at your side
Requirements
- You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) school and your school qualification is recognized in Germany
- Your German language skills correspond to at least level B2
- Even in difficult situations you remain calm and keep an overview
- You enjoy technology
- You like to take responsibility, make quick decisions and are reliable and resilient
- Working on weekends and public holidays is also fine for you

- Takeover: After your successful completion you will receive an offer for takeover at DB.
- Attractive remuneration: Depending on the apprenticeship year between 1,324 Euro and 1,531 Euro per month plus Christmas bonus.
