Apprenticeship Electronics Technician for Operations Engineering, Signal and Communication Technology 2027

As an electronics technician for operations engineering, you are an important part of keeping rail traffic running well. From 16.08.2027, DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH is looking for you for the 3.5-year apprenticeship in Ditzingen near Stuttgart. The vocational school is the Friedrich-Ebert-Schule in Esslingen, and the training workshop is also in Esslingen. A suitability examination is part of the selection process.

• You get to know the new construction, installation and monitoring of various systems
• As an electronics technician for operations engineering, you also learn to analyze and fix faults in operations technology
• You are also taught knowledge of measuring, testing and diagnostic methods
• You work outdoors on switchgear and interlocking technology
• You also help with the cabling of signals, antennas and WiFi systems

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school certificate is recognized in Germany
• Your German skills are at least at B2 level
• You enjoy math and physics
• You are good with your hands and like tinkering with electronic components
• You are definitely a team player and reliable
• Different work locations across Germany, working hours and night shifts are a welcome change for you
• You also like to work independently
