Apprenticeship Mechatronics Technician for Track Construction Machines 2027

Starting 1 August 2027, we are looking for you for the 3.5-year apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician (f/m/d) at DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Königsborn (Biederitz). The vocational school is in Schönebeck and the training workshop is in Königsborn (near Magdeburg). A dormitory place in Magdeburg is possible.

• As a mechatronics technician you learn the basics of mechanics and electronics
• You carry out maintenance and repairs on our machines and track construction vehicles, e.g. the "Mammut" or the Stopfexpress
• To find faults, you use modern measuring and testing devices
• You also check electrical, electronic and mechanical systems – everything that keeps a construction train running
• You work outdoors on and with our machines, which are used at construction sites across Germany

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school qualification is recognized in Germany
• Your German skills are at least B2 level
• You enjoy technology and teamwork
• Your knowledge of math and physics is especially good
• It goes without saying that you are reliable
• You also work very precisely and like to pitch in
