Apprenticeship Civil Engineering Construction Worker 2027

DB InfraGO AG is looking for you for the 2-year apprenticeship as a civil engineering construction worker (f/m/d) in Magdeburg, starting 15 August 2027. The vocational school is also in Magdeburg, near the Krökentor. The training workshop or qualification center is in Königsborn (near Magdeburg).

• You work with your team on the repair and maintenance of structures
• Together you inspect and check parts of bridges and crossings and carry out demolition work, winter service or cutting back vegetation along the track systems
• With the help of modern machines you renew foundations and components
• You also take care of reworking and repairing construction surfaces
• During your apprenticeship you are already an important part of the team and make sure every day that our trains run safely

• You have (soon) successfully finished school and your school certificate is recognized in Germany
• Your German skills are at least B2 level (for applicants with B1 level we offer an online B2 language course before the apprenticeship starts)
• Sitting at a desk is not for you – you prefer to work outdoors
• You are motivated and reliable
• You enjoy teamwork and like to pitch in
• Different workplaces and working hours as well as night shifts are a welcome change for you
