Civil Engineer as Project Engineer S-Bahn Frankfurt-Friedberg

As soon as possible, DB InfraGO AG is looking for a civil engineer as a project engineer for the S-Bahn Frankfurt-Friedberg at its Frankfurt am Main location. This is a permanent full-time position.

• Share responsibility for the structural assessment of the S6 construction projects in the Rhine-Main area
• Technical and commercial project management and responsibility for planning and delivering construction work on quality, on budget and on time in compliance with building law requirements
• Ongoing dialogue with clients, construction companies and authorities, coordinating contract-compliant planning, construction supervision and inspection services, and working closely with colleagues in specialist planning and construction supervision
• Prepare tender and award documents, apply for public-law permits, calculate and track project costs, review and assess supplementary claims and manage official and expert acceptance inspections
• Assemble the project team, plan resources and manage risks

• Successfully completed college or university degree in civil engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable technical degree
• Professional experience in construction project management and experience with tenders and the awarding of engineering and construction services
• Expertise in supplementary claims management and ideally experience with plan change procedures
• Ideally knowledge of structural engineering and sufficient knowledge of HOAI, VOB, VOL and applicable legal regulations
• Enjoyment of economical and goal-oriented project delivery
• Communication skills, confident manner, assertiveness, coordination skills and a committed, reliable and independent way of working
